yeah, the lensless camera - pinhole camera :)
Stuff to prepare: a roll of 400 ISO film, an empty film container, a roll of black tape, a 3/4" screw head, a black card board, a book binder plastic stripe
Tools to prepare: a piece of bluTack, a cutter, a pair of scissors, a ruler, a pencil, an empty soft drink can, a needle, a few pieces of sand papers
Make the pinhole: cut a piece of tin from the soft drink can (20x20mm square) ant then hold it with bluTack and sand it with a series of sand paper (from rough to fine one) and then put pressure over the pin to try to pluge a hole on it over a hard surface. It will need a few back and forth between these 2 steps, before you can get a fine pinhole. do a few then you will see which one is round and small and good. you can check the hole under a lamp light.
The paper work: cut 2 pieces of card board as above, one is for the chamber and another is for the back of the camera.
Put up the camer back: first, cut off the head of the take up spool, turn it upside down. Cut off the extra part of the new film reel, stick them up with a piece of tape. stuck the 2 legs of the back board INTO each of the film containers; tighten the film reel and it will look somewhat like this...
The Chamber: stick the screw head to the bottom hole, and tape the pinhole to the from circular hole. It will look somewhat like this...
The film counter: notice there's a "removal corners" on both chamber / back board card ? yup that's a hole for our FILM COUNTER ! cut off a piece of book binder plastic and stick it there, try to roll the film then you will hear a "tick" sound. for each 36x24 frame of film, you will need 8 "ticks"
Alright, tape it all up, be sure no light leaks
and add a pinhole cover of your style, then you are good...
you have a 15mm camera with tripod screw head ... woohoo !
here's some samples of mine
and 2 doubles
finally, DIY ROCKS ! ! !
